US built cars were satin black. Canadian built cars were body color. I would call it more semi gloss than satin although the difference isn’t big. More towards gloss than flat but without reflection of any kind.
As stated above, ALL Canadian built cars for the Canadian market were painted body color. In addition, the inside of the trunks were painted body color as well (like a Mopar)
in the US they were painted satin black with the heater core cover painted in gloss black and Canadian cars were body color
